EMERGENCY crews were called to a collision yesterday when an elderly person became trapped in the wreckage of a car.
Firefighters in two appliances attended the scene in Chester High Road in Neston after a car had flipped on to its side in the accident.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle on its side with one elderly person trapped.
“Crews assisted the casualty and made the vehicle safe.
“Once the casualty was extricated from the vehicle, they were passed on to the care of awaiting paramedics and the ambulance service.”
