PREPARE for a finger-picking weekend of top tunes when the Coastline Bluegrass Music Event returns to North Wales.
Now celebrating its fifth year, the festival continues to go from strength to strength, and next month's celebration of all things bluegrass promises to raise the bar even higher.
Headlining the popular event is Swedish band G2 Bluegrass Band, who have firmly established themselves as one of Europe's best acts.
Their fresh and original sound combined with a respect for the old standards has ensured generation-spanning appeal, with several US tours giving them international popularity.
Backing them up are Scottish bluegrass lovers Longway who combine driving bluegrass with gosep to offer an eclectic sound.
And Home Made Jam from Edinburgh are sure to have audiences transfixed with their memorable tuns.
But there is more to the Coastline Bluegrass Music Event than performances - keen musicians are encouraged to get involved too.
The event offers extended workshops for all the acoustic bluegrass instruments including an introduction to bluegrass for beginners and those who have come from other genres, right through to the advanced levels.
The workshops offer a unique opportunity for people to participate in fun-filled, informative, instrument and vocal workshops, which start them on the road to playing music - all backed up by tutors who are experienced band members offering a wealth of knowledge.
Combined with Appalachian cloggers Feet First and Wicked Soles and open mic events, be sure not to miss this music filled weekend.
