DINBYCH U-16s 29
MOLD U-16s 10

AFTER a long absence, Dinbych U-16s returned to action with a hard-fought win in tricky conditions at Caeau Les Phillips.

Led by captain Jake Hayden, Dinbych scored five tries to complete a double over neighbours Mold.

The first half was competitive, with Mold taking an early lead, but Dinbych had overcome this deficit by half time with two tries of their own to lead 12-5.

After the interval, the game was still in the balance for long periods before Dinbych finally made the breakthrough with three tries, the pick of which saw second row Aaron Evans sprint from halfway to score under the posts.
