CORWEN A have taken another big stride to successfully defending their Owain Glyndwr Snooker League title.

Last week, the defending champions edged out club rivals Corwen B 4-2 and with title-chasers Flexsys surprisingly losing at Carrog, Corwen A now have a two-point lead at the head of the standings.
 

The draw for the team knockout semi-finals has taken place, with ties scheduled to be played on Tuesday, February 14.
 

Carrog will take on Corwen B, while the league’s leading duo will clash as Corwen A play host to Flexsys.
 

The league’s finals day will be held at Bala snooker hall on Sunday, March 3, starting at 1pm.
 

Tacsis Goddard Taxis Owain Glyndwr Snooker League (January 31): Carrog 4 Flexsys 2, Corwen B 2 Corwen A 4.
Highest break: G Hoggins (Corwen B) 31
Most wins: Aled Jones (Flexsys) 9
