CHESHIRE Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to after a shopkeeper was racially abused.
The incident happened on Saturday at the Chester Convenience Store, near The Bars, Boughton, at 11.45am, when two men entered the shop.
It is claimed one of the men became aggressive towards shop staff, shouting racially abusive language towards the shop manager.
The man, who made off before police arrived, was described as being about 5ft 7ins in height, with fair ginger hair and wearing a black, long sleeve zip-up coat and distinctive grey shoes.
Sgt Andy Burrage, of Chester Inner Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I ask anybody who is able to identify him to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting reference CC13010339, or ask to speak to PC Jen Gort. Or call Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 11.”
