DANIEL O’Donnell’s singing partner will grace the stage of Chester Cathedral for a special gospel concert this week.
Singer Mary Duff, who is best known as Daniel O’Donnell’s long standing stage partner, will showcase her talents as a gospel singer in Chester Cathedral on Friday as part of her solo album launch.
The singing duo have recorded two best selling duet albums together, both of which made the UK top 20 albums charts.
Her latest solo album, which has been recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra titled The Voice of an Angel, is being released in the UK by Daniel O’Donnell’s record label, Rosette Records of London.
Birkenhead-born singing star Charlie Landsborough and former Eurovision Song Contest runner-up Marc Roberts will be special guests at the Chester Cathedral concert.
All the singers will be backed by an orchestra and choir from Birmingham, under the baton of Matthew Jones.
“With a totally different style of album we feel that the beautiful surroundings of historic Chester Cathedral is the ideal venue to showcase our selection of gospel songs for a UK audience,” said Mary.
