ONE lucky woman from Wrexham will benefit from a fashion fix after style guru Gok Wan paid a visit to the town.

The presenter visited the Memorial Hall and Eagles Meadow shopping centre on Sunday to look for those who could benefit from his advice.

And one woman was selected from about 180 people to star in the latest series of Gok’s Fashion Fix.

Richard Dyer, a senior researcher for TV company Endemol, said: “It went really well.

“We had a really good turnout and we found our lady.

“A number of ladies were in contention and he decided on the final one on the day.

“He spoke to a number of ladies, went through their wardrobes and asked them why they wanted a makeover, and a few mini-makeovers were done there and then.

“Then there was announcement as to who had been chosen.”

The lucky woman’s identity will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Yes, how "lucky" to be made an object of ridicule on national tv.

I wonder why Gok never uses his full name and always omits his anglicised surname of Kerr.

I wondered why you would want to be publicly outed as a bad dresser as well! Anyway, to hell with fashion. I think you should just wear what you feel comfortable in.

Romour has it .... they couldn't keep up with a 6ft heavy set Dame with big hair tottering about in high heels....bringing to mind Amy Whitehouse !!

karen - "I wondered why you would want to be publicly outed as a bad dresser as well!" It's called "Jeremy Kyle Syndrome" where by unintelligent people will do anything to appear on television but failing to appreciate that everyone who watches will be laughing at them.
