Neston man charged with attempted murder of girlfriend's ex-partner

A NESTON man has been charged with the attempted murder of his girlfriend’s ex-partner.


Andrew McIntosh, 51, of Inverlea, in Ness, is accused of attacking Paul Greaves, 47, with a knife at a house in Frobisher Road, Neston, at 7.15pm on Friday.
 

He appeared at Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston Magistrates Court on Monday, August 30, where he was refused bail.
 

McIntosh, who has no previous convictions, is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and drink driving.
 

McIntosh will appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, September 27 for a preliminary hearing.
