DESIGN students from a Chester school saw their creations put to the test during a recent field trip.
In a bid to support the teaching of GCSE and A-level product design, Aldford School pupils from Years 10, 11 and 13 visited Tags Ltd in Liverpool.
The group got to tour the facilities of the specialist printing company, which supplies tags and labels to a wide variety of industries.
While on site they were given a talk by managing director Mark Hockedy and saw some of their own design work produced in the factory.
Design technology teacher Dave Stockley thanked Mr Hockedy for taking time out of his “busy schedule to support our pupils”.
He added: “The visit was of great benefit to them all.”
