Justin Barrett, Ian Craig and Sean Humphreys receive the award for Chester-based Bank of America Europe Card Services.

BANK bosses in Chester are celebrating after their organisation scooped four top awards.

Bank of America Europe Card Services, based on Chester Business Park, received the honours at the 2011 Card and Payments Awards, earning more accolades than any other company at the London ceremony.

The organisation was shortlisted for 13 separate categories, and won Best Achievement in Customer Service, Best Industry Innovation of the Year, Best Affinity or Co-Branded Credit Card Programme and Best New Credit Card Product of the Year.

Europe Card executive for Bank of America, Ian O’Doherty, said: “To win four key national awards in the face of such strong competition is a significant achievement for our business. We are absolutely delighted.

“A lot of our effort is focused on putting our customers at the centre of everything we do, so to win the ‘Best Achievement in Customer Service Award’ is great industry endorsement of what we are doing.

“Equally, our success in the ‘Best Innovation’ category for the 3D Secure programme is fantastic recognition of our ongoing commitment to customer security and providing convenience within the online experience.

“On top of those two awards, we’re very proud of the partnerships we have with Play.com and Amazon.co.uk, and we’re very pleased that these co-branded products are regarded as some of the country’s best.”
